What Makes PAP a Party Fair Minded People Love To Hate?

Front Page Straits Times 23 May 2012

It is a known fact that PAP is everywhere. They are in RCs, CCCs, PA and NTUC and mainstream media and heaven knows where? The above headline, "WP faces allegations of dishonesty" shows the blatant bias ST has against the Workers Party or any party who opposes PAP. Shame on you, ST! Why not did up the dirt on Desmond Choo's uncle, Choo Wee Khiang, instead. [Link]

From the video below, wouldn't a headline like "PAP faces allegation of injustice done to Hougang residents" be more appropriate? Or dramatically mean, "PA's CCC puts sands in the rice bowls of Hougang residents"

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

The by-election rally of 22 May 2012 by Workers Party to elect Png Eng Huat as MP for Hougang was worth getting drenched. Hearing Ah Pehs (Uncles) and Ah Ums (Aunties) shouting "Pak Si Bo Chow" or "Fight Die No Run (Fight till death)" under the heavy rain warms my damaged heart. A happy heart stressed only by incorrigible bullies who would use any means to demean their opposition, to silence embarrassing truths.

With his silly "repent" remark in the las GE, ex-PM Lee Kuan Yew helped bring Low Thia Khiang and his WP team to parliament in May 2011. In so doing, he also sent George Yeo and his PAP team packing, leaving no trace of even a comeback to reclaim Aljunied!

With the same "silliness", DPM Teo Chee Hean's accusation of WP being 'dishonest" may send Desmond Choo packing from Hougang soon. However, with a secured *KLKK job in NTUC (like other aspiring PAP MPs who lost in the last election) and appointed grassroot leader by PA for Hougang, he may just stick around to enjoy the porridge!

It is pathetic that PAP needs to stoop so low to nitpick, to make a mountain out of a mole hill of Png Eng Huat's declaration that he did not wish to be a NCMP. Not unlike the stupidity of asking WP to 'come clean' when WP has already sacked Yaw Shin Leong, PAP leaders are at a loss in fighting for Hougang. They just can't rise to the challenges put forth by WP and are making themselves look silly. Very silly! They have no sportsmanship and they do not fight a "clean fight". They are no better than cheating wrestlers who gouge the eyes of their opponents and dirty boxers who punch under the belt!

On a lighter note, I beg Ms Sylvia Lim's forgiveness should I put her on a bad light in the above video. The rain may ruffled her appearance but the content and delivery of her speech under the pouring rain  shows the good heart, the truth, the courage and the beauty in her.

  1. I know that upgrading in Hougang has been placed last after PAP wards. That's bad politics.

Sylvia's revelations during her speech makes me feel the real injustice. The people in Hougang has suffered not because of the WP, but by other agencies that throws spanners in their works.

    How low can they get?

    Shame.

  2. Not a word of all the WP rally speeches yesterday was in the ST today.

Instead, they focussed on Png's NCMP stand!

    Disgrace!

  4. Do take note a real democracy usually works when you have a real free press...

Singapore's "free" press is full of shiet which needs clearance and approval via the appointed "representatives" of the PAP gov't.

It is a pity we have little self centred self deluded kids holding the house and car keys...instead of the real adults who were forced into exile, kept incognito or even kicked out of Singapore..

And PAP & elites think they are intelligent...perhaps paper intelligent only...real wisdom...i am afraid from their actions and the policies imposed within and without of Singapore has shown many these meat puppets have zilch / nada wisdom.

    This is sad.

    Not for me.

But for everyone else who deserve better but getting nonce from the white clothed parasites.

And yes, parasites they are no matter what they say or do.

Unless they truely start to serve Singapore and its people for real...instead of doing the rubbish white washing of themselves as other-wise.

    zzzzzz

  5. I am very impressed by the strong crowd in the rain. At times like this, it's proud to be a Singaporean.

  6. PAP discriminate and divide to perpetuate their grips on the citizens.LHL openly acknowledged the injustice the PAP had done on the voters of Houguang for the past two decades.
On Saturday 26th May 2012 it is pay back time for the PAP

  7. Hougang - Our Brave Hearts. No rain, and certainly no lightning - Petir - will sway your resolve. What you do today will bear fruition in 2016. Huat ah.

The PAP is desperate, and is now resorting to gutter politics. Be warned that this cuts both ways. DPM Teo has lost his credibility and marbles when he embarked on this slippery and slimy path, with the connivance of the main stream media. You don't build a democratic society based on justice and equality by throwing mud.

    Disgusting.

  8. "DPM Teo has lost his credibility and marbles when he embarked on this slippery and slimy path, with the connivance of the main stream media."

The PAP man and his party already lost all the credibility and honesty long ago, and that is why they are so desperate and going full force to do a despicable and dishonourable being will do at all cost. We see it in last election and we see it in this election.

Didn't anyone find that the turnout at PAP rally is so freaking pathetic that if they ought to be inducted into World's record as the worst turnout for a election ?

  10. Democracy in Singapore ia a fake. Just like a prostitute faking orgasm.

I think DPM Teo is pathetic, picking on petty issues here and there. Can't blame him though.

Threats no longer work, unpgrading carrot no longer bitten with gusto, and let's just forget about integrity and honesty issues that the PAP themselves are just as culpable (Phey Yew Kok, Teh Cheang Wan, Wee Toon Boon, Choo Wee Khiang) since Hougang voters will vote for monkeys, lizards, cockroaches and other insects if they were to stand against the PAP.

So, what else new can the PAP dig up to sway Hougang voters? WP should tell them to forget it and just pray for a miracle.

  11. PAP has LOST.

    They have lost their morals.

They have lost the respect of the people.

    They have lost their way.

  13. In Singapore, only PAP can accuse other people of dishonesty with no proof whatsoever, with impunity. All thanks to the 'tripartite' works among the police, press and judiciary.

As the level of sophistication of the citizenry goes up, it should be expected that more and more Singaporeans start to reject such underhanded bullying tactics of the PAP. I predict PAP will be kicked out within the next two elections. If this doesn't come to pass, I would feel very sorry for the nation would have lost its soul and moral compass.

  14. I thought Desmond Choo had conducted himself quite well in his campaign. Focus on the local issue without resorting to peronality attacks on his opponent. He may not win but could put up a good performance at the polls.
But the presence of the CBM Teo CH and the sycophantic press with their usual slime tactics put paid to all his efforts and now whatever goodwill DC gained is lost.

  15. Desmond Choo playing fair? It's the most underhanded kind of politics I've seen - declare that you want a clean fight so you'd look like a gentleman, while your party mates do the lowdown dirty work.

  16. Looking at the election so far, Desmond Choo can only win if the election is determined by beauty and manhunt contest, and that is where Desmond can be his own man on stage without the uglyness of his seniors spoliting the show.
