He Gets No Respect!

I saw this talk of Assortative Sex on TOC video

Instead of being angry and feeling insulted because I'm just an 'O' level boy, great-grandma of my grand-daughter advises me to laugh it off. I did and I was reminded of one of my favourite comedians, Rodney Dangerfield.

Rodney brought laughter to many with his self-deprecating "I got no respect" jokes. He passed on in 2004 and his obituary is here

Unlike Rodney Dangerfield who always joked about not getting any respect, the other old man who seems so full of himself has no respect for others.

I'm not sure if his parents were graduates. If they were, I guess he would be smart enough to know that if there's nothing nice to say about anyone especially non-graduates, it's best to just Shut-The-F^^k-Up!

If the comments at http://theonlinecitizen.com/2008/10/mm-lee-on-assortative-mating/#comments is an indication of how people (grads and non-grads) feel about this "awful truth", I guess there's hope yet for Singapore!

  1. This is total crap. The old man is really getting too senile. My wife is a non-graduate and I believe she is much smarter than some of the supposedly graduates she work with. He should check into the hospital AND STAY THERE!

  2. The mental one belongs to a mental institution. Just treat him as such.

  3. Actually, I have been refraining to take part in any discussion about HIM (of course u know who I am referring to and I do not want to name HIM).

Just ignore him... he does not deserve a split second of our time... sorry, times up.

  5. No one would want to admit his/her mistakes even after years have past if admitting them means the loss of credibility and face. Therefore, people, especially old people, tend to bring out the deeds they have made in their earlier years as though they have been totally correct in championing such deeds, which to many affected persons may have good reasons to refute.

Moreover, what can we expect if negative feedback have been prevented from reaching his ears?

Who dares to stir the wrath of a totalitarian dictator who can never tolerate a "NO" answer?

The fear of losing their rice-bowl or other severe punishments is very real in the hearts and minds of many weak/smart/cunning people.
