Botox or Bollocks or Both?
So the law is changed again for the benefit of those who can fix opposition and buy votes.
It is amusing that another PAP's face-saving, hope-SGidiots-are-too-dumb-to-know-the-trick law is passed to help PAP stay in government and hopefully win more votes. The abuse of power with gerrymandering and GRC is well brought up by Sylvia Lim of Workers' Party in Parliament.
She said, "Sir, a few days ago the Prime Minister appeared in a television interview with American journalist, Charlie Rose, and spoke of the importance of the moral right to govern. How does abusing the GRC system and gerrymandering square with the moral right to govern?". Ouch! Truth hurts.
To most of us who are so sick and tired of PAP's hubris, the feeling must have been orgasmic when we heard Sylvia said that!
Fix and Buy!
Fix everything to PAP's advantage and buy the way to win! That's what it's all about. Win at all cost. Credibility and honour? Moral rights to govern?
Another mockery.
Another botox.
Another bollocks.
My sincere appreciation to Sylvia for telling it like it is.

Well, if moral right to Govern does not square off with Singaporeans, with all the gerrymandering, how about telling us that they have the mandate of heaven to Govern?
Some people really have no shame with such claims.
Same issues here in the US.
I have a niece who works in a "medical day spa" and she sees nothing wrong with non-medical folks being trained to do the injections of BOTOX and fillers. Of course, I being a plastic surgeon must just resent them stepping on my income. Needless to say, I just sidestep the topic at family gatherings.
Mr Fish,
Ah Loong learnt his 'moral values' at home from his pa and ma.
I believe it is the main reason why he will never win the trust of lesser mortals.
Ah Loong probably believes his famiLee owns Singapore and this in itself gives him the moral authority to govern....in other words it is okay for him to inherit power and not earn it.
Fish, welcome back. Missed your post.
This is very consistent with PAP believe. Everything has a price. Even the Olympic medal can be bought.
I have 3 female friends in their early 50s, they stay away from junk, they exercise and they look younger than Springtime. OK, Linda works out vigorously 3 times a week, but still, no Botox needed -- not a line on any of their faces.
Right. And I never believe all those chemically improved cleaning products. You never know what rubbish they add to the products. Tested and approved doesn't mean anything nowadays. The experts just say what the advertisers want them to say. Conscience is less important than money.

A human beings begins cutting his perceptiveness teeth the first often he bites out more than he can chew.
Come back Mr Fish!
To be a upright lenient being is to have a amiable of openness to the mankind, an skill to trust aleatory things beyond your own manage, that can front you to be shattered in very exceptionally circumstances for which you were not to blame. That says something uncommonly important with the get of the honest autobiography: that it is based on a trust in the uncertain and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a weed than like a treasure, something somewhat feeble, but whose mere special handsomeness is inseparable from that fragility.
Distress ferments the humors, casts them into their right channels, throws off redundancies, and helps species in those hush-hush distributions, without which the body cannot subsist in its vigor, nor the man role of with cheerfulness.
A untroubled beloved maturity is the prize of a well-spent youth. As a substitute for of its bringing dejected and woebegone prospects of degenerate, it would give us hopes of timeless stripling in a bettor world.
