Hougang Will Go Forth and Huat . . . Ah!

With the friends I know and the supporters of WP in Hougang, I am sure Hougang will not go to the Dogs! [Link]

It will go to Png Eng Huat of Workers' Party!

video

From the above report, it is a shame that Tharman Shanmugaratnam stated that WP should not trivailise election process by saying, "I don't think that you can say that it doesn't matter if a candidate turns out to be irresponsible . . . doesn't matter what he is like . . . we sack him and hope for another by-election . . . That trivailises what has happened." I think it was a cheap shot that will haunt Tharman later.

In fact, to have a Hougang resident Vellama Marie Muthu bringing the PM to court just to ensure a by-election is more trivailising on the part of PAP! [Link] A huge embarrassment to PM Lee and PAP if I may add.

While the PAP is doing its best to denigrate WP for its lack of scrutiny in selecting YSL as a candidate, it behoves Tharman and his arrogant boss to revisit Desmond Choo's uncle, Choo Wee Khiang [Link] before he tries to sully the integrity of the Workers' Party.

Thanks again to Singapore Notes, here is another [link] to show the joke that is in PAP.

I look forward to 26 May 2012.
History will be made!
It will be  sweet!
It will be beautiful!

Hougang will go forth and  HUAT . . .  AH!

video
Crazy as it may seem, Video at 1:43 sounds like HUAT AH!

The msm has already started to try to influence the viewers even though in a subtle manner. For those viewers who had watched the Channel 8 news at 6:30pm last night, you will notice that the report on the WP's candidate actually stressed on the fact that Mr Png is English educated. You mean Desmond Choo is not English educated? If you were to think more deeply you will know why the msm bother to emphasize on WP's candidate is "English educated".

Do they really think that we are that daft?

Under the watch of LHL, the PAP for the first time in history lost a GRC and an SMC in GE2011. The PM (and some of his ka kias) is still sulking over this loss one year on, as evidenced by his petulant criticisms of WP and Yaw, and calls to come clean. He "trivialised" the Hougang by-election by his pussyfooting. Does this show a lack of political maturity and acumen?

Grow up PM Lee (and Tharman), and move on - you have a country to run which you are often quick to point out. Look positively at this by-election as a referendum on your performance (and justification of your salary) since GE2011 - win or lose, you can better prepare for 2016, right?

Trivialize (also trivialise): make (something) seem less important, significant, or complex than it really is (Oxford Dictionary)

Who are trivializing the election process with the GRC scam?? And how trivializing it is to say "it's an honest mistake, lets move on". Disgusting!!

The Pappies seem to have forgotten the case of Phey Yew Kok. What about the million dollar case of Singapore Teachers Union involving its once worthy President Lawrence Seah Koon Choy the former PAP MP of Moumein? The case was once mentioned in the Straikts Times. But somehow with the passage of time nothing more was heard of it.

As usual what they did/say are always right while the alternate party are wrong.

Papies want WP to come clean with Yaw's case but use lawsuit against other regarding the other Indian Papies you_know_what's case.

Double standard as usual. Do those Papies have conscious?

I am surprised LowTK did not counter PM Lee by saying the PM can instruct Shanmugam to speak at DesmondChoo's Hougang rally, telling the residents that he is the best person to advise YawSL on how to come clean with so called indiscretions.

In fact LowTK can also offer Shanmugam to perform the same lecture on the WP's stage, a great opportunity for Shanmugam to convince WP supporters in Hougang to switch allegiance to PAP.

Having said that, Shanmugam should have DPM TeoCH by his side to translate in teochew in case he receives an overwhelming reception.....LOL

If the WP did not exercise careful scrutiny in their selection of YSL, doesn't that also apply to the PAP?

Over the years we have such illustrious criminals as Teh Cheang Wan, Wee Toon Boon and the like from the PAP committing more serious crimes that affect public interest compared to YSL, whose only crime was something of a personal failing.

Tharman should look at this own party before sullying the integrity of the WP.

Tharman himself was charged for breaching the official secrets act in 1993, and obviously his hide must have grown hell of alot thicker with each passing year.
