Orgasm.oral: What has CPIB done?

Oh suck, this must be the horror of horrors!

From the corruption trial of the "orgasm.oral" [Link], [Link] and [Link], my heart goes out to the hubby, child and family members of Cecilia Sue.

Without any personal judgement on what she did, my empathy goes to her for the hell that she goes through now. Worse, what she went through when she was grilled by CPIB (up to 3.30am?) so many times is beyond what we ordinary folks can comprehend and perceive.

With inhuman tactics to extract forced confession from victims, does CPIB goes to the extent of making their victims reach a level of  'Acute Stress Disorder' and 'Altered Mental Status' to achieve their objective?

With what CPIB has done to Cecilia Sue, I cannot blame her if she contemplates suicide. For the sake of her child and loved ones, I sincerely hope that she's strong enough to overcome the trauma she is going through now. For whatever she did, any loss of life is a tragedy.

However, if she's cunning enough to put up this wayang (who knows?), then my empathy would have gone to waste.

In life, there are Enhancers and there are Depleters. Those that enhances life and those that depletes life.

Dear CPIB, do you enhance or do you deplete the well-being of human lives?

Fish, there is something really fishy about this case. Why target this NBG guy?

At September 29, 2012 at 11:34 AM , Blogger The said...

Yup, hell hath no fury for a woman scorned. Lot's of conspiracy theory with this case, starting with the fact that NBG was the one who spilled the drug addict statistics. Remember, CNB claimed for many years that the number of heroin addicts were on a down-trend, and it was Ng who came clean with the revised numbers.

Cecilia is flip-flopping worse that Ahmad Badawi. If DIY means self-fix store, then I suppose MU means Manchester United.

No sex, but maybe pregnant?

Bribery is an illegal activity that takes place between 2 consenting adults.

Coerced sexual activity e.g. rape is non consensual.

I have difficulty understanding the legal logic of coerced sex in a case where the charges are bribery.

A previous Singapore Chief Justice had passed judgement that oral sex between two consenting adults in their own bedroom is an offence or crime.
This the biggest screw-up judgement passed in the Singapore Courts.

"I have difficulty understanding the legal logic of coerced sex in a case where the charges are bribery."

To answer your question, I think the Prosecutor's case runs like this: Ng Boon Gay forced (coerced) Cecilia Sue (the prosecution witness) to lurp him, then offered to give the contract to her to appease her. So she is in the clear, and Ng is guilty of bribery. This means non-concensual fellatio.

This is very reminiscent of the Anwar sodomy trial. At first the Prosecutor charged him with non-concensual sodomy. This meant that Saiful (the prosecution witness) was not guilty of sodomy (similar to our case here). But after considering that Anwar had a bad back, and Saiful was young and strong, how can it be non-concensual. So they reframed the charge to concensual, which meant that Saiful was also guilty. They can do this because of "prosecutorial discretion".

Anwar was acquited in January 9 2012, the judge said that there was no corroborative evidence. Mahathir claimed a moral victory, saying the "verdict vindicated the government and proved there had never been a conspiracy." Ha ha, such is politics.

Who knows, maybe in our case here, the Prosecutor may change it's stance to concensual fellatio (the Defence view), therefore both Ng and Cecilia are guilty of bribery. But Cecilia being a prosecution witness may be let off the hook, except the Defence wants to prove her to be unreliable!

To me there are only 3 scenarios:
(1) Cecilia is jilted, and wants to hit back at Ng as a whistleblower.
(2) Cecilia is coerced into sex with Ng, but both are caught by the CPIB for bribery.
(3) Cecilia is a schemer, and offered Ng willingly, but both are caught by the CPIB for bribery.
In (2) and (3) the Prosecutor is all out to get Ng and is using Cecilia as a reluctant witness, calling it non-concensual. Here politics enters the equation. The MIWs want to show that they are whiter than white. Such are the ramifications of politics, sex, love and lurps.

At September 29, 2012 at 7:04 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

That is a start of a new religion, Cecilia will be known as mother Cecilia.

At September 29, 2012 at 7:19 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

@ ANON: September 29, 2012 5:40 PM

Since both the fellator and fellatee were never caught in the act.
Either Cecilia is the whistle blower or there is an unnamed 3rd party who is the whistle blower.

I get the impression that CPIB just sits on their backside waiting for business (complaints) to walk through the front door.
I don't think CPIB spends their time lurking around in carpark spying on couples in parked cars.

At September 30, 2012 at 3:07 PM , Anonymous K Das said...

Given the long drawn conflicting nature of evidence given thus far there is no absolute certainty if sex indulged is consensual or non-consensual, although I am inclined towards the former.

Since both are adults, having sex is no crime. They have not filed complaint against each other and they find themselves in hot soup only because CPIB hauled them up.

There is no concrete evidence of Ng Boon Gay having favoured Cecilia Sue in the award of any contract or for that matter if there was any contract to be awarded under his jurisdiction during the material time of their relationship.

Can any charge based on “intent to obtain favours in future despite having obtained none at present” stick? I hardly think so.

I am a layman not trained in law. But based on the facts of the case revealed so far, I would dismiss the case and clear NBG.

At September 30, 2012 at 4:54 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

K Das, as far as I know, as long as a public officer received gratifications, it's bribery, regardless of whether he is in any position or did reciprocate. Having said that, the key then is what kind of gratification received is considered 'bribery'. Obviously those that were solicited from the recipient (public officer) can be. But what if offered from the vendor? That's kind of tricky. Can you say a vendor offered a gold plated plaque as goodwill is considered bribery? If in doubt, it's always better that the officer declare it.
But as of now, I've yet to read about any evidence presented that Ng coerced Sue for sexual gratification with promises of favouring her company or Sue provided sexual gratification to bias Ng. There no link yet to bribery although we can guess there must be but the court has to hear all evidence, especially evidence on bribery.

Dear Anonymous of September 30, 2012 11:42 PM,

"Freedom's just another word for having nothin' left to lose,
Nothin' ain't worth nothing but it's free"

Thank you for your advice. I'm not rich to have assets to transfer but I get by with 3 meals a day and a roof over my head especially when it rains. If I have assets which you think I have, maybe I would (like most) just shut the fook up and not reveal what's in my damaged heart.

It is tough to overcome 'fear' in a country where anything said against the establishments connected to the FamiLee (even if it's the truth) and PAP is considered blasphemous. But overcome we must!

It is through our "conversation" in discussing matters that the 'establishments' wish to avoid (expensive HDB flats; Can-Never-Get-CPF; Overcrowding Everywhere; Opaqueness of GIC and Temasek, etc.) that will set us free.

Bloggers are demonised by the establishment as 'Noise' simply because the PAP Estab. can no longer control the "REAL CONVERSATION" that concerned Singaporeans wish to have.

We must continue to 'sing' peacefully to let them know that Arrogance and Kelong (Fixed) Wayang 'National Con' is detrimental to the unity and well-being of nation building.

Guts? No when push turns to shove, we must do what we have to do for the future of SIngapore, For our children and our children's children.

I thank you so much for your love and concern and all who bother to read my blog. You folks keep me going in my quest to let them know that Singaporeans are neither stupid nor 'daft'. That they should not take our kindness and our culture of peace and discipline as weaknesses that they can continue to bully.

Praise to internet and bloggers who care that "the time . . . they are a changin' "

May peace, happiness and love be with you!

Cheers,

I think it strange that majority do not see that what NBG did can pose a danger to our society - think it possible (perhaps probable) that his moments of indiscretion in public car parks etc could have been recorded by those who will use it to blackmail him into divulging CNB operations / information, for eg...what then? I agree his is not corrupt but morally?

Like what the Bard once said: Brevity is the soul of wit...and I had wanted to just say "are we missing the wood for the trees?" but thought that without elaborating what I meant, it could really be missing the wood...there is more than one way to skin a cat and unfortunately for NBG, the process has been a very public & disgraceful one.

You reap what you sow...

She is now blowing hot and cold on the witness stand. This is what happens when the "star" witness is arm-twisted to testify. If she is indicted for perjury, is the public prosecutor also culpable? This blow-job case may yet blow up in the faces of the public prosecutor and CPIB. But in Sin city, anything can happen. LOL.

Looking forward to the Civil Defence chief and the sex for grade cases. More distractions than the NatCON. Like George Bush, jr, would say, "bring it on".

This ho-ha over a sexual tryst between 2 consenting adults is just a smoke screen. It happens all the time. Why is this different? Something else is going on. Why would NBG be in hot water if he is still favored by the ruling party? Perhaps someone above no longer likes him and has no further use for him. If he is coveted as a useful tool, all this dirt can be easily washed away or swept under the carpet by the powers above. He no longer enjoys the protection of the powers that put him there.

The saucy wayang and intimate details of the plot also serves as entertainment for the masses. It keeps the people from more important issues such as rising costs, FT, housing, jobs, transport, etc. They are issues our government want to maintain as low profile as possible.

In the end, these 2 individuals' lives will be destroyed, along with them their families' future. One has to ask: "Who is going to gain from all this?"

Agree with you. In the meantime, they will just proclaim that Singaporeans are happy with the NatCON, and happy with answer of Pinky... Typical of ruling party. As usual , just sweep everything under the carpet and proclaim success of NatCON.

Same question applies with ChiaTP, Dr LimHS, JBJ, FSeow, TangLH, all the alleged marxist conspirators,...even ex-CAD GKnight was humiliated publicly.

As long as the famiLee is lording over everyone in SinCity, I am inclined to believe it is politically motivated.

I could not help but to think that there are some invisible force wanting this man down.
