In my post on "What Makes PAP a Party Fair Minded People Love To Hate?" [Link], I wrote of the obvious.
I just read Today's report on "Straits Times, Zaobao challenge Low's remarks" [Link] and I was wondering if Straits Times and Zaobao (both controlled by 'You Know Who'?) can do a 'Durai' on WP's Low Thia Khiang. Because Low Thia Khiang does not have golden taps to be entrapped, PAP Tampines MP Mr Baey Yam Keng said: "Sometimes reports may not be what the newsmaker wants it to be, because there may be neutrality by the media, so it's not always what the newsmaker wants."
I'm amazed that Baey calls this "neutrality by the media" Hell, can one man's sense of neutrality be actually be the same man's desperate need to suck up? To hear this from a professional media guy makes it worse! Could it be due to where the butter is spread! Fooking neutrality indeed! Please look again at the big headline and the picture.
How long do we Singaporeans have to live with this crap? I just read that CPF has done it again! Effective 1 July 2012, they have increased the Minimum Sum and Medisave of CPF respectively to $139,000, up from $131,000 last year. From July 1, the Medisave minimum sum (MMS) will also be raised to $38,500 from $36,000, a 7 per cent increase. [Link]
Just who the feck decide on the increase? CPF? So who the fook in CPF makes the decision? Fooking blind me (Blimey) but someone has to explain to the people why the fecking goalposts keep fooking shifting? Is Christopher Balding right in saying that our CPF is fooked! [Link]
I'm just a common old geezer Singaporean with no economics training or university education. All I know is one is one and two is two and I understand what honour and promises mean. If you fecking told me that I would get my CPF savings (with interests) at age 55, you jolly well make sure I get it at 55! If you have fookin' lost Singaporeans' CPF money through Temasek and GIC, please be honest with me. I will respect your honesty instead of your filthy slime! Like PM Lee and Khaw Boon Wan's insistence on Yaw Shin Leong's saga, why the fook can't you basterds "COME CLEAN" with what you have done with our CPF savings!
Do you hear the people sing?
Please visit this [Link] to know how unhappy and angry Singaporeans are with the arrogant and detestable PAP!
That is the response of a dear relative to my email when I shared with her my thoughts that, after Workers Party Png Eng Huat's win in Hougang, there is hope yet for Singapore! She joined in the celebration in Hougang's at 1.30am on Sunday morning at Hougang Avenue 5.
My reply to her:
After participating and videoing the celebration, I stayed up the whole night editing the video.
For the sake of our children and our children's children, we must stop this Arrogant Party from hurting us further.
They have been sitting in their ivory towers for so long that they are deaf and immune to the cry of the ordinary people. The only way to make PAP treat Singaporeans with respect is to vote in more opposition MPs. Without more opposition in Parliament, PAP will continue to treat us like dirt and walk all over us!
I think the input of newer younger ministers in 2011 has made it worse because all the newbie ministers and MPs from PAP were elites from Mindef or NTUC or honchos from the corporate world and the various ministries or those related (Kate Spade Tin?). They know nuts about the struggle of the everyday people like you and me. They only know how to give orders! Truth be told, the song and dance put by PAP on Desmond Choo sticking in Hougang after his previous defeat for 15 months pales in comparison to the grassroot and community work done by WP's Png Eng Huat since 2006!
PAP's policy of bringing in millions of foreigners to Singapore without creating corresponding infrastructures like housing, transport, hospitals/health care services will be the death of Singapore!
My advice to the millionaire ministers in PAP is:
You've done 'NeWater', you'd better start creating 'New'Air' and even 'New'Land'. While you are making more and faster money from HDB 'New'Land' through demolition of older 10-storey flats and replacing them with 40-storey highrises, please spare a thought for the safety of the poor construction workers at the sites.
In your enthusiasm to eradicate your current shortcomings, please have the heart to ensure that the new flats, new hospitals and everything you are building now are safe for the people. Never let Haste Makes Waste! Please learn from the constant and embarrassing MRT breakdowns.
While you are at it, please be fair to bus drivers of SMRT. How the hell Ong Ye Khun can be a Director of the SMRT Board and simultaneously be drivers' Union Chief is fookin' beyond me! Just who the feck is he representing and where does his loyalty lie? How does he play god and satan at the same time? How the hell does this guy sleep at night?
The Tripartism of PAP, NTUC and Employers only serves the elitist PAP, NTUC and Employers. It works against the interests of workers in Singapore. It is hurting them! I'm neither an economist nor a rocket scientist. I'm just a Cambridge Certificate (O-Level) boy of '68. However, my gut tells me that changing 5-day-week to 6-day-week for bus drivers is a step backward. It is detrimental to the bus drivers! [Link]
Right is right and wrong is wrong. To have the same person as a Transport Workers' Union Chief and Member of the Board of Directors is one feck of a Conflicting Interest! Is Ong Ye Khun talking care of the interest of the bus drivers or the bosses of SMRT? [Link]
Only God or Ong Ye Khun knows!
By the way, during election rallies in 2011, Ong Ye Khun was talking about taking care of the interest of Aljunied GRC residents. It is a shame that the 2011 PAP team in Aljunied GRC has vanished from the Aljunied ground!
I am trying to remember what they did to Mr J B Jeyaratnam and Mr Tang Liang Hong way back then in the days of Cheng San. The GRC that vanished into thin air!
If my memory serves me well, the battery and assault on the integrity of Tang Liang Hong was most unkind. They called Tang Liang Hong a Chinese Chauvinist and an Anti-Christian for a speech Tang gave eons ago which Teo Chee Hean attended. That brought forth the woes that befall Tang Liang Hong.
Tang made a police report that his integrity was damaged by such insinuations. When JB Jeyaratnam showed the police report to the audience at an election rally, he and Tang Liang Hong were later charged for defamation! Because of that incident, JB Jeyaratnam (bless his soul) had to pay damages and Tang Liang Hong became a fugitive!
Very mean and tricky men! They tried their tricks again in Hougang By-Election. However, with legal eagles like Sylvia Lim, Chen Show Mao, Pritam Singh and their knowledge of the filth of PAP, the WP did not bite. Now Teo Chee Hian is at it again luring WP to sue PAP for PAP's dirty tricks! [See Link from 1:35] The body language of Teo when asked of Hougang's upgrading was interestingly worth paying attention to. Why the reporter did not follow up with "when will the upgrading start?" shows the pathetic quality of journalism in Singapore!
I'm so happy that WP has walked tall and overcome the irritating and unethical challenges from Teo Chee Hean.
It is good to hear Low Thia Khiang saying that the by-election in over and it's time to move on, to work for the betterment of Hougangites in estate and lift upgrading. Hopefully not with spanners thrown at them again by the PAP and PA's CCC again!
Below are some interesting links on what they did to Tang Liang Hong
In the same way that Lee Kuan Yew screwed up George Yeo, Zianal Abidin Rashid, Lim Hwee Hua, Cynthia Phua and Ong Ye Khun at Aljunied GRC in May 2011, it must be painful for Desmond Choo to be screwed politically by Teo Chee Hean, Denise Phua, Khaw Boon Wan and Lee Hsien Loong.
It is neat to note that their mean and and despicable attacks has not only backfired but also revealed their character flaws. It is unbecoming of ministers to use unethical methods to cast aspersions on decent folks just to win votes!
Having used threats of witholding funds for lift and estate upgrading in previous elections, PAP now tried to buy Hougang voters with porridge and hearing aids! Well, 62% of Hougangites were not for sale!
I have had the joy of labour in lugging cheap tripod and camera and bagpack to video the happening in Hougang the last few days so that I can share what I see, hear and feel of the awesome rally speeches and fantastic crowd that PAP controlled msm refuse to show and tell. The happiness of seeing PAP get hammered by WP again is worth the death of me!
To be present and capture what's on this video below is priceless to me. To have like-minded strangers, who become friends, speak to me without fear (albeit their shyness of not wanting to show their faces) is an experience worth treasuring. To have a guy singing (like a cast member of Les Miserables) with words so befitting the feelings of Singaporeans is incredible!
The song at 4:00 may be not "Idol" material but it came from the heart!
Do you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men
It is the music of a people who would not be slaves again
When the music of the heart echoes the music of the drum
There is a life about to start when tomorrow comes
Do you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men
It is the music of a people who would not be bullied again
When the music of the heart echoes the music of the drum
There is a life about to start when tomorrow comes
Do you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men
It is the music of a people who would not be cheated again
When the music of the heart echoes the music of the drum
There is a life about to start when tomorrow comes
If the men in white do not learn from this by-election, the future will not be bright for Singapore. If they continue to treat Singaporeans like daft duds who can be 'cheated',' bullied' and manipulated at their whims and fancies, they will be taught a greater lesson come 2016!
PAP Beware! Be very aware that more and more Singaporeans are becoming more and more like the "62% Houngangites". They are very sick and tired of being sick and tired of your empty promises, your threats, your self-serving greed and your hypocrisy!
What Pritam says at 5:40 on how PAP took away 26 community sites from Workers Party Town Council and passed them to Peoples' Association, thus crippling WP is deplorable. They are under-handed and worthy of contempt. Now we know why PAP is so detestable!
At 8:00, Pritam tells of how PAP punish Hougang residents for their brave decision of not voting PAP. Such hypocrisy and callousness by PAP in treating the elderly in Hougang is abhorrent!
On the subject of "WP faces allegations of dishonesty"[Link] Teo Xuanwei of Today reported on 04:46 AM May 23, 2012:
Speaking to Today, Mr Eric Tan, a former WP CEC member and leader of the party's East Coast GRC team last year, said that Mr Png did tell him and two other teammates Mr Gerald Giam and Ms Glenda Han - that he was not interested in being an NCMP. This was said during a short meeting the four had the day after Polling Day. The fifth member of the team, Mr Fazli Talip, who has since quit the WP, was not present at the meeting.
However, the crap stirrer of a DPM hasn't given up yet!
Despite Mr Png's clarification, Mr Teo, who was with PAP candidate Desmond Choo in Hougang, weighed in on the episode. Said Mr Teo: "The last few days - especially events over the last two days - it gives me pause because it raises two issues ... of honesty, and being upfront and honest with the voters here in Hougang." He noted that Mr Png could only be "telling the truth" on one occasion. "I think what he said (on Monday) and what he said (yesterday) contradict each other," Mr Teo added. [Link]
Another reason why PAP is so detestable!
Source: TODAYdigital
Wife complains that he spend more time in Hougang than with his wife!
Self Praise is a Fooking Disgrace!
They "fecking' demolish the wet market and hawker centre at their whim and fancy and now he is making a song and dance of how hard he is telling his bosses to build another wet market. All of them are Fooking Hypocrites!
Pardon the 'fecking' and 'fooking' adjectives that's used here. I am mindful of my emotions but sometimes you have to let fly to prevent another AMI!
For the past 40 years, among other disgraceful tactics, PAP in their greed for power
Has tried to bribe with $100 million to improve Hougang
Has threatened Singaporeans by using upgrading as a carrot
Has used defamation to bring woes to JB Jeyaratnam, Tang Liang Hong, Francis Seow, Chee Soon Juan and many others
Has jailed many Singaporeans without trial. Operation Cold Store, Operation Spectrum, The Marxists Conspiracy and many others [Link]
Has messed with electoral processes like pork-barrel gerrymandeering and creating GRCs
Has abused opposition party's rights by taking away their community sites
Has jammed improvement for Hougang Singaporean with PA's CCCs
And as always, they never fail to insinuate the lack of integrity and honesty of opposition parties and their members. Failing to make the Yaw Shin Leong's case stick to the detriment of WP, the PAP especially DPM Teo Chee Hean is now insinuating that Png Eng Huat is a 'dishonest liar".
They did their despicable trick on JB Jeyaratnam and Tang Liang Hong way back in Cheng San's days and they are trying their luck again. Despicable is too generous a word to describe such filth!
To hell with my palpitating heart and the GTN I have to take. Enough is enough! The swines in PAP desecrate the ground they walk on and they deserve to be spit upon!
Do they not realise that by employing such dirty tactics, they are setting bad examples for all Singaporean, especially the impressionable young! Instead of being 'inclusive' and accept sportsmanlike competition, why stoop so low with such despicable insinuation?
What Makes PAP a Party Fair Minded People Love To Hate?
Front Page Straits Times 23 May 2012
It is a known fact that PAP is everywhere. They are in RCs, CCCs, PA and NTUC and mainstream media and heaven knows where? The above headline, "WP faces allegations of dishonesty" shows the blatant bias ST has against the Workers Party or any party who opposes PAP. Shame on you, ST! Why not did up the dirt on Desmond Choo's uncle, Choo Wee Khiang, instead. [Link]
From the video below, wouldn't a headline like "PAP faces allegation of injustice done to Hougang residents" be more appropriate? Or dramatically mean, "PA's CCC puts sands in the rice bowls of Hougang residents"
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
The by-election rally of 22 May 2012 by Workers Party to elect Png Eng Huat as MP for Hougang was worth getting drenched. Hearing Ah Pehs (Uncles) and Ah Ums (Aunties) shouting "Pak Si Bo Chow" or "Fight Die No Run (Fight till death)" under the heavy rain warms my damaged heart. A happy heart stressed only by incorrigible bullies who would use any means to demean their opposition, to silence embarrassing truths.
With his silly "repent" remark in the las GE, ex-PM Lee Kuan Yew helped bring Low Thia Khiang and his WP team to parliament in May 2011. In so doing, he also sent George Yeo and his PAP team packing, leaving no trace of even a comeback to reclaim Aljunied!
With the same "silliness", DPM Teo Chee Hean's accusation of WP being 'dishonest" may send Desmond Choo packing from Hougang soon. However, with a secured *KLKK job in NTUC (like other aspiring PAP MPs who lost in the last election) and appointed grassroot leader by PA for Hougang, he may just stick around to enjoy the porridge!
It is pathetic that PAP needs to stoop so low to nitpick, to make a mountain out of a mole hill of Png Eng Huat's declaration that he did not wish to be a NCMP. Not unlike the stupidity of asking WP to 'come clean' when WP has already sacked Yaw Shin Leong, PAP leaders are at a loss in fighting for Hougang. They just can't rise to the challenges put forth by WP and are making themselves look silly. Very silly! They have no sportsmanship and they do not fight a "clean fight". They are no better than cheating wrestlers who gouge the eyes of their opponents and dirty boxers who punch under the belt!
On a lighter note, I beg Ms Sylvia Lim's forgiveness should I put her on a bad light in the above video. The rain may ruffled her appearance but the content and delivery of her speech under the pouring rain shows the good heart, the truth, the courage and the beauty in her.

*KLKK = "Kia lai kia khe" = in English, "Walk here walk there"
Workers Party veteran, Mr Lim Ee Peng's Hokkien speech [Link] may have upset PAP,
Mr Low Thia Kiang speaking in Teochew may also be a pain to PAP members and supporters. To other Singaporeans, it is a thrill, a priceless joy to listen to dialects that are banned in TV and radio stations in Singapore!
For the benefit of readers, I'll try to translate what Mr Low said in Part One and Two of the videos below. If I do wrong, I hope my Teochew readers can highlight and comment on my errors.
Part One
"Thank you voters of Hougang and reporters for being present at this WP rally". Mr Trumpeter blows his horn. (Sounds like "The Last Post" for PAP? I only wish he'd blow something lively like "Reveille", the rising up of Workers' Party)
"Last year, voters of Hougang and Aljunied GRC have endorsed and supported Workers Party's working "Towards First World Parliament" and voted WP into parliament
"Because of Hougang constituency voting for WP for the past 20 years that the ruling party has started to pay attention to the problems faced by citizens
"Everyone knows that Hougang constituency is just like my 'in-law'. Though Iam now Aljunied MP, while walking in Aljunied, I 'll drop by in Hougang" Laughter "Because of this, DPM Teo Chee Hian has asked Hougang residents to vote for Desmond Choo, saying that I will still serve Hougang residents even id PAP's Desond is voted in.
"Do you mean buy one Desmond Choo and get one Low Thia Khiang free?
Part Two
"I want to tell DPM, if you want to sell your candidate, it is your own business. But it has got nothing to do with us."
"Reporters have been asking why we nominate Png Eng Huat who is older than Desmond Choo as if age is a problem"
"Though Png Eng Huat is older than Desmond Choo, he is still younger than I.
"There is more. In Parliament today, there are quite a lot of old fogeys. (Laughter) The oldest, Lee Kuan Yew may be old but his brain is still very clear. He is also very clever in scolding people" (more laughter)
"I want to tell PAP, don't look down on old people"
"Because of this by election, television recently broadcasted a piece on the history of Hougang. There were pictures of me when I was voted in in 1991. Compared then to now, my hair has drop to almost bald now." Laughter.
"Young people should know that problems affecting old people affects you. Whatever policies that negatively impact your parents will have a detrimental effect on you. If the government neglect to help the elders, your responsibility to take care of them will be heavier"
"As Khaw Boon Wan has said that nursing homes in JB are cheaper than in Singapore, I asked him if it becomes unaffordable for Singaporeans to send their aged parents to homes in Singapore, do we send them to Johor Bahru?" Laughter.
Part Three
I think it was Chen Show Mao who said, "we do not have many 5 years", meaning general election. At my age, I totally agree with him. For Singaporeans with the msm being so controlled and contrived, election rallies bring forth truths and heartfelt emotions when we watch them live!
For Png Eng Huat's speech in Hokkien, please visit motormafia8mm [Link]
I was shocked to hear PAP's Denise Phua telling Hougang residents, "You have played your part but you have the freedom to choose not to be the stronghold of any political party; you have the freedom not to be the pawn of any bet, bookies." [Link at 6:15]
Of all PAP MPs, I would have thought that Denise Phua would be more humble than to insult the integrity of residents of Hougang. I may be wrong, but to insinuate that my heroes (residents of Hougang who refused to be bought by Goh Chok Tong's $100 million-dollar estate upgrading and Teochew porridge) were pawns of bookies is an insult to the injury suffered by Hougang residents for their steadfastness and courage in not voting for PAP! I fear that if Hougang stops to be the stronghold of the Workers' Party, PAP will arrogantly step on poor Singaporeans all over again!
In the Hokkien words of WP Veteran Lim Ee Ping, I understand him saying "if not for opposition, if not for Workers Party, if not for the gumption of residents of Hougang and Aljunied GRC, would PM Lee commission the inquiry on the obscene salary of PAP ministers after GE 2011?"
If not for the challenges from the opposition parties, would PM Lee have said, "If we didn't get it right, I'm sorry. But we will try better the next time." [Link] Denise Phua must be joking when she said that mrbrown can act as a check and balance against PAP! *This is mrbrown's response [Link]
If only more constituencies have the fortitude and pride to refuse to be bribed and bullied, we would have less woes than we have today. PAP would not have walked all over us as if we were daft duds! In the words of WP candidate fr Hougang, Png Eng Huat, "It's the people of Anson, Potong Pasir and Hougang who made our journey towards First World Parliament possible. We salute you."
As much as PAPies like to twist and turn (green) at the savvy speeches made by WP members as nothing more than 'entertainment', thinking Singaporeans know the difference.
For the benefit of senior citizens whose mother tongue is Hokkien and those who understand Hokkien, I have uploaded the following videos. Hopefully, readers here will share them with their parents and grandparents.
Call it old fashioned, Mr Lim's 3 bows to thank Aljunied residents was neat.
To be able to win a GRC and beating PAP at its own game is something many Singaporeans (40% and getting more) are proud of.
In response to the above, we get the response from an angry gentleman from PAP camp. I simply love the part where he said, "Sorry bo par keh" which in Malay is "Sorry tak pakai" which in English is "Sorry doesn't mean squat" which reminds me of the apologies (more than one) given by PM Lee!
This by election may be 'entertainment' to some. To me and many others, it is a lesson in history. An opportunity to know the calibre and character of people who claims to serve the nation. An awakening to know who are the 'talkers' and who are the 'doers'. A reminder of who are the 'stayers' and the 'quitters'.
And while Denise and the rest in PAP are knocking WP of its wrong choices in selecting candidates, I'd like to know if PAP's George Yeo, Zainal Abidin Rasheed, Lim Hwee Hua, Ong Ye Kung and Cynthia Phua are walking the ground in Aljunied to prepare the good fight in 2016?
Indeed, one should not throw stones when one lives in glass castles!
Pritam Singh Takes On Khaw Boon Wan and Lee Hsien Loong
When I last wrote of PAP's Khaw Boon Wan taking a cheap shot at Workers' Party [Link], I wondered how WP would respond to Khaw's high falutin' hubris.
I had the benefit of attending the Hougang by-election rally last night and the speech by Pritam Singh, also known as "Beh Tum Sim" which in Hokkien means "No Worry" or "Not Greedy" answered my thoughts.
It is a breath of fresh air that Pritam did not highlight the fact that Choo Wee Khiang is the uncle of Desmond Choo. Unlike hubristic millionaire ministers who deride and denigrate and insisting that others should " Come Clean", Pritam has done a fantastic job in doing the laundry on PAP Chairman Khaw Boon Wan and PM Lee Hsien Loong. It was priceless to watch it live at the field in front of Block 837 Hougang Central!
'Put things right, no matter what the cost"
Just why do people turn up by the thousands to watch non-PAP rally? On a hot steamy Saturday night which at time threatened to rain. For me, it is a chance to hear the truth. Not the filtered down reports that you get from controlled, testicles-carrying and biased mainstream media, but words spoken as they are. It is also an opportunity for like-minded people to show their unity against a Petty Arrogant Party gone wrong! Very wrong!
Seriously, I believe thousands (not from Hougang alone but from as far as Jurong and Changi) turned up to play a part in "building a democratic society based on justice and equality so as to achieve happiness" for our nation.
Apart from Pritam, to hear other team members of WP speak was an evening well spent!
Another WP Rally will be held this coming Tuesday and I look forward to it.
Do look out for more uncensored "tell-it-like-it-is" videos here.
What the by election at Hougang has got to do with this event is beyond me.
Anyway, see you at
WP Election Rally on 19 May 2012
Join us for the first WP Election Rally for the Hougang By-election. Come and support the Workers’ Party, and in particular, our Candidate Mr Png Eng Huat!
Date: 19 May 2012 (Saturday)
Time: 7pm
Venue: Open Field (Infront of Blk 837, bounded by Hougang Ave 4 and Hougang Central)
What You Will Not See On Local TV on Nomination Day in Hougang 16 May 2012
It was a nice hot noon in Hougang and Khaw Boon Wan has this to say of the Workers' Party:
"It sounds very complicated and it sounds exciting too for people looking in. One by one, some resign, some get sacked for whatever the reason, some become unhappy with the leadership. It's too complicated for us.
For us, we come to politics to serve. So we have a common cause. So you decide what's important for Singaporeans and as a party, we stay united. Of course, if you come in and don't share a common goal, that's very hard to be together. Because if within the party, if you can't stay united, can you imagine if you're in power, how do you run a country? **Every day, some ministers are resigning or sacked, I think that's very troublesome for Singapore," said Mr Khaw. [Link]
With Desmond Choo wanting to be his "own man", I hope *Self-Glorifying-Golden-Hair Khaw Boon Wan does not have to eat his words in the not too distant future. It is pathetic to insinuate that there is a split in the Workers' Party when Desmond Choo would rather fight without the help of his seniors (who keep demanding of others to 'come clean' when 'dirt' was already sanitized by the departure and sacrifice of a sitting MP). Isn't the pound of flesh (the expulsion of Yaw Shing Leong) enough? Why be meaner than Shylock?
Some observe that PAP may be the party that is splitting within, very soon, too many hidden skeletons may just force the cabinet doors to open . . . and the stink will overwhelm . . .
Action speaks louder than words and I have the good fortune of witnessing the nomination of candidates at the nomination centre of the Hougang By-Election at Serangoon Junior College today.
The heat, the perspiration and the 3 -hour wait for Yam Ah Mee's announcement was worth the gut feel of solidarity, the togetherness and the sense of pride (that 'whites' cannot intimidate the 'blues') among the supporters who believe in a 'democratic society based on justice and equality'. The chance for me to chat with like-minded individuals (of all ages) who took leave from work to be there shows there is hope yet for my country, Singapore. Especially for my children and my children's children.
I have not seen what local TV has shown but the amateurish shaky movie above is what I managed to grab of the proceedings. If you find the video leaning more towards WP and not PAP, please pardon me for I am allergic to ''white".
*Self-Glorifying -"For us, we come to politics to serve." Question: Serve who?
Possible Answer: "Oneself, with million dollar salary?"
**"Every day, some ministers are resigning or sacked, I think that's very troublesome for Singapore,"
My thoughts: No ministers resigned or sacked until Election Year. For more than 5 years, National Development and HDB cocks up; Public transportation seizes; Singapore flooded with foreigners and pondings. Geez, if those millionaire ministers were sacked or resigned earlier, Singapore may not be plagued by the current property and transportation mess that we have now! Yes, it is indeed troublesome to sack deadwoods in PAP!
With the friends I know and the supporters of WP in Hougang, I am sure Hougang will not go to the Dogs! [Link]
It will go to Png Eng Huat of Workers' Party!
From the above report, it is a shame that Tharman Shanmugaratnam stated that WP should not trivailise election process by saying, "I don't think that you can say that it doesn't matter if a candidate turns out to be irresponsible . . . doesn't matter what he is like . . . we sack him and hope for another by-election . . . That trivailises what has happened." I think it was a cheap shot that will haunt Tharman later.
In fact, to have a Hougang resident Vellama Marie Muthu bringing the PM to court just to ensure a by-election is more trivailising on the part of PAP! [Link] A huge embarrassment to PM Lee and PAP if I may add.
While the PAP is doing its best to denigrate WP for its lack of scrutiny in selecting YSL as a candidate, it behoves Tharman and his arrogant boss to revisit Desmond Choo's uncle, Choo Wee Khiang [Link] before he tries to sully the integrity of the Workers' Party.
Thanks again to Singapore Notes, here is another [link] to show the joke that is in PAP.
I look forward to 26 May 2012.
History will be made!
It will be sweet!
It will be beautiful!
Hougang will go forth and HUAT . . . AH!
Crazy as it may seem, Video at 1:43 sounds like HUAT AH!
Mindfully breathing in, breathing out, smiling,

Please Be There For A Democratic Society Based On Justice And Equality
"We are trying to seek the maximum advantage for Singapore and Singaporeans," so said the Prime Minister. [Link] The headline stated: "S'poreans will always be top priority: PM Lee"
Since when did we, average SIngaporeans, enjoy maximum advantage? Maximum advantage of what? Advantage of having our hard-earned savings locked up in CPF? Advantage of seeing our children struggling to pay for the HDB flat? That is, if they can find and afford to buy one. Since when did we, average Singaporeans, become 'top priority'? Top priority in what? Top priority in losing jobs and scholarships to PRCs and other foreigners? Priority in seeing the 'fat cat' ministers in PAP paying themselves millions while denying the poor a minimum wage?
I remember vividly the May Day Rally of 2011 that was hijacked by the PAP to win votes for the People Action Party. A shameful mass of men-in-white congregating not to honour the hard labour of SIngaporeans but to sell a political party to win votes for despotic goal. I may be wrong but that is my perception when MIW did what they did in May Day Rally of 2011 [Link]. It is a breath of fresh air that MIW did not dress in white in May Day Rally of 2012.
Due to 'bopian'city (Hokkien ='no other option available'), PM Lee Hsien Loong has instructed President Tony Tan to allow Hougang residents to elect their MP on 26 May 2012, despite the pending court case. What Lee wrote in his facebook [Link] shows the 'graciousness' of the PM. Honestly, if what's written is left unsaid, PAP may win more votes in the coming by-election: "In January this year, news surfaced of personal indiscretions by Mr Yaw Shin Leong, the Workers’ Party (WP) Member of Parliament for Hougang constituency. The WP first kept totally silent, then supported Mr Yaw, and then three weeks later suddenly expelled him from the party. Until now the WP has not given Singaporeans a full and proper account of what happened, or why it acted in this way. Mr Yaw himself has said nothing, either to explain or to apologise for his behaviour, and has reportedly left the country. Both the WP and Mr Yaw have let down all those who voted for him. As a result of Mr Yaw’s expulsion from the WP, the Hougang constituency seat fell vacant."
The emphasis is mine and it is highlighted to show the character of the facebooker. It would be good if PM Lee re-visit Choo Wee Khiang, uncle of Desmond Choo, before he started throwing stones at his own glass castle.
Just who has let the people down? PAP or WP? I guess the truth as to who has 'come clean' [Link] and who is trying to 'play dirty' will be shown by the result of the by-election in Hougang on 26 May 2012.
MARUAH is commemorating the "25th Anniversary of Operation Spectrum", an outdoor exhibition themed - That We May Dream Again. Remembering the 1987 ‘Marxist Conspiracy’ - will be held from 3pm to 7pm on Saturday 19th May, 2012 at Speakers’ Corner, Hong Lim Park.[Link]
Be there . . . for a democratic society based on justice and equality . . . for yourself, your children and your children's children . . .
For all their smarts and smirks, I humbly ask the PAP leaders,"With your ad nauseum brag of first world standard in Singapore, why does EPF of Malaysia continue to pay higher interest than CPF pays its members in Singapore? Pray tell."
I understand that a CABG (coronary artery bypass graft) is a procedure where a blood vessel is taken from the chest, leg or arm and used to bypass a narrowed or blocked coronary artery to increase the blood flow to a person's heart muscle. Hence, preventing a heart attack.
Remember the ex-Health Minister who is the current Minister of National Development of Singapore who made famous his claim of only paying $8 for for his CABG surgery and first class hospital stay? Did the surgical team do more than a CABG? Could they have added a heart transplant as well? Could they have taken away his caring compassionate heart and replaced it with something heartless? A mechanical pump?
Based on his performance after the CABG surgery, I feel something a amiss. He now "Kong Wei Bo Liong Sim" = "Speaks without heart, without conscience, without compassion"
What does it take for a man to use selected statistics to pull wool over the eyes of its citizens? I am referring to Khaw Boon Wan's latest claim: "National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan said on Wednesday night that HDB flats have been the same size for the past 15 years, and are not shrinking, contrary to popular belief." [Link] I believe the popular belief will find this claim hard to believe!
Silly as it may seem, since they lost part of their salary after the Ministerial Salary COI (which Mercer earned $860,000.00?), ministers in Singapore have been coming up with claims that are pretty wild. I still cannot get over the hype, the extravagant publicity of
A family with an income of $1,000 can afford to purchase a HDB flat
Neither do I believe that the poor, who pays GST ends up richer with GST Rebates. However, I do believe the rich gets richer since the Estate Duty Act was abolished.
So when the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance and Manpower Tharman Shanmugaratnam sang the song of "take further steps in the next five years to build an inclusive society" [Link], I had to check my heart rate and get my *GTN ready! For how many more years do we have to bear the crap of such motherhood statement? Or is it motherfook statement? Remember the "Staying Together Moving Ahead' bull? [Link]
Since the promise made in 2006, we have fragmented more than we have been inclusive. The divide is is more than between
the poor (the average folks) and the rich (especially the ministers & their elite kakies)
the PAP government and the citizens
the locals and the immigrants
the conmen (as in those who try to pull wool over the eyes of innocent) and the conned
It is not healthy for Singapore.
The divide is causing many to sing
If only, our leaders can treat us as humans and not digits for GDP growth.
If only, they can treat us with respect instead of contempt.
If only, they have the courage to admit
that they are profiteering from the sale of HDB flats
instead of saying it is a "subsidy"
If only . . .
Do not miss this 4-minute that reflects much on what we are going through. "We have lost the way. . . Greed has poisoned men's souls . . . We think too much, we feel too little . . . More than cleverness, we need kindness, gentleness . . . System that makes man torture and imprison innocent people . . . Don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you; enslave you; who regiment your lives; tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel; who drill you; tire you; treat you like cattle; who use you as cannon fodder. Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men with machine minds and machine hearts . . . They lied. They did not fulfill their promise . . . "

*GTN = Glyceryl trinitrate is to relieve chest pain associated with angina and heart attack.
PS: My sincere thanks to my anonymous commentator for highlighting this "Great Dictator" video for all to share.
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.
The double speak, the hubris that I get from the power that is especially the leeders irks me no end.
The balls carrying sychophantic mainstream media suffocate me. I can hardly breathe.
Some say I may get radicalised, but fortunately, the alternative news and views that I get from internet keeps me sane.
The ability to write in this blog gets the elephant off my chest and helps me breathe easier. It lightens me up!
When it's all said and done, just feedmetothefish.
With my crazy writing, my children and the greatgrandma of my granddaughter worry that the "legal/factual" big stick will come after me for being radicalised or for being ridiculous:)
Hopefully, the fish will get me first:)
Thank you for visiting.
